It looks at the foundations AI depends on - documented processes, accessible data, team adoption, leadership buy-in, data protection, and your ability to roll out change - and identifies which gaps to close first.
How is the score calculated?
You answer 7 questions covering process documentation, data, current AI usage, leadership, governance, and execution speed. Each answer scores 0-3 and the total is converted to a score out of 100, with a band (Exploring, Emerging, Ready, or Accelerating) and tailored recommendations for your two weakest areas.
Is this assessment really free? Do I need to sign up?

What's a good AI readiness score for a small business?
