1. Who we are

BlooSprout ("we", "us", "our") builds and runs AI agents for businesses, and checks the work every month. This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data when you use our website or services. We are the data controller for the personal data we process.

3. Personal data we collect

We may collect:

  • Contact details - name, email address, phone number (when you book a call or get in touch)
  • Communication data - messages you send us
  • Tool inputs and results - what you enter into our free tools, and your results, only if you ask us to email them. Otherwise the tools run in your browser and send us nothing.
  • Usage data - the pages you visit, how you got here, roughly where in the world you are, and what browser and device you use. We only collect this if you accept analytics cookies. Google Analytics does not store your IP address; PostHog uses it to work out your approximate location.
  • Theme preference - light/dark mode (stored locally in your browser)

4. Lawful basis and purpose

We process your data for:

  • Consent - for analytics cookies, and when you opt in to communications
  • Contract - to provide services you've requested (e.g. building and running AI agents)
  • Legitimate interest - to respond to enquiries and keep the site working
  • Legal obligation - where required by law

5. Who we share data with

We may share data with:

  • Cal.com - for scheduling (when you book a call)
  • Resend - for email delivery (when you ask us to email you a tool's results)
  • Google Analytics - to count visits and see which pages get read (only if you accept analytics cookies)
  • PostHog - to see how people move through the site (only if you accept analytics cookies)
  • Hosting and infrastructure providers - necessary to run our website
  • We do not sell your data to third parties.

6. International transfers

Some of the companies we use store data outside the UK. Google Analytics data is held in the United States, covered by the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. PostHog data is held on EU servers in Germany.

7. Retention

We keep personal data only as long as needed: contact data for the duration of our relationship plus a reasonable period; technical/cookie data as described in our Cookie Policy. You may ask us to delete your data sooner. Analytics data is kept for 14 months in Google Analytics and 12 months in PostHog, then deleted.

8. Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

  • Access, rectify, or erase your data
  • Restrict or object to processing
  • Data portability (where applicable)
  • Withdraw consent at any time
  • Complain to the ICO

9. Security

We take reasonable steps to protect your data using appropriate technical and organisational measures.

We may update this policy. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
