Turn one approved brief into useful campaign assets with AI

A practical process for creating campaign copy, branded graphics and a product video outline from an approved brief, with clear checks before use.

The campaign needs a graphic. Then a different size. Then a product clip and some words for the sales team.

Each request sounds small. The offer gets explained again, the files get rebuilt and the wording starts to drift.

AI is useful here when it works from something you have already agreed. A clear brief can support several assets without asking the model to invent the campaign each time.

Start with the message you want people to understand.

Get the brief into a usable shape

For a growing business with a small marketing team, the first improvement may be a shared page of approved facts.

Include the audience, offer and action you want someone to take. Add the evidence you can show, the source files you can use and anything the campaign must not claim.

Name the person who approves the final work. If the offer changes, update the brief before producing more versions.

Here is a simple example, created for this article:

  • Audience: operations managers looking for a simpler way to request a service visit.
  • Offer: an online form that collects the site, issue and preferred visit time.
  • Evidence: an approved recording of the actual form and confirmation screen.
  • Next step: visit the page explaining how to request a visit.
  • Boundary: a request does not confirm a booking or guarantee an arrival time.

That last line matters. “Choose your visit time” and “Request your preferred time” describe different promises.

Use AI to make variations from the facts

Ask for a headline, a short caption and a recording outline. Give each a job and make the boundaries explicit.

Use the approved brief below to prepare campaign drafts.

Return a graphic headline, a social caption and a product-recording outline.
Use plain UK English. Keep the same offer and next step throughout.

Use only facts and evidence in the brief.
Do not add customer quotes, results, guarantees or deadlines.
List anything missing that a person must decide before production.

Approved brief: [paste the agreed brief]
Approved destination: [paste the correct page URL]

Compare the drafts against the brief before making the artwork. It is easier to correct a sentence now than after it appears across a collection of finished files.

If you already use Adobe Express, its Rewrite feature can rephrase, shorten or lengthen existing text. That can help fit approved wording into a layout. It still needs a factual check after rewriting. Adobe Express text variations.

Keep the brand in a template

A new prompt for every graphic gives you another opportunity for the colours, spacing and tone to wander.

Instead, start from a layout someone has approved. Mark which parts can change: perhaps the headline, image and call to action. Keep the logo and supporting details in consistent places.

Adobe Express lets you create a brand containing logos, colours, fonts and graphics. Its custom template controls can restrict styles, layers and image sources on Teams and Enterprise plans. Creating a brand and template brand controls.

Use the equivalent features in your current design tool if they do the job. The purpose is to make approved choices reusable.

Give each format a reason to exist

Choose formats around where the campaign will appear. A graphic needs a readable message at a glance. A product clip needs to show the action clearly. A sales email needs enough context for someone to reply.

For the example above, a recording could show the actual request form, the information needed and what happens after submission. Keep private customer details out of the recording.

An AI-generated picture of a product screen would not prove how the product works. Use the real interface when demonstrating it.

For different graphic sizes, Adobe Express offers page presets, custom dimensions and Duplicate & Resize on Premium plans. Its documentation also says it does not support batch resizing multiple pages at once. Plan the production work accordingly. Adobe Express page resizing.

Review each result. A resized graphic can still put the headline over an awkward crop or make a useful detail too small.

Check the exported files

Look at the actual export on a phone, not just the design canvas.

Can you read the message? Does the product recording match the current interface? Do the caption and graphic make the same promise? Does the link lead to the right page?

Check names, prices, dates and claims against the approved source. Keep a record of the version that was approved and the person who approved it.

Also confirm that your images, recordings, fonts and audio are available for the intended use. Adobe’s Rewrite FAQ requires users to have the right to use supplied content; its availability and credit rules are worth checking before you build a routine around it. Adobe Express Rewrite FAQ.

Measure useful output

Track how long a batch takes from approved brief to approved files. Include corrections, resizing and review. Keep a note of assets that never get used and why.

If most of the work is spent fixing invented claims or rebuilding layouts, reduce the variation. Improve the brief or template before generating more.

Campaign response is a separate question. Producing assets quickly does not prove that the offer attracts the right customers. Publishing, ad spend and campaign measurement need their own owner and plan.
